Baxter Machine & Tool Co. was founded in 1974 by Larry Baxter, an accomplished Tool & Die Maker. In the early 1980’s Baxter built upon this heritage as a manufacturer of precision products and ventured into high-volume production in upwards of 2,000,000 per annum. Word quickly spread of Baxter Machine & Tool's quality and performance throughout the drivetrain and growing powdered metal industries.

The 1990’s brought more additions to Baxter’s capabilities, such as numerous production grinding procedures, tumbling, heat treat, blank manufacturing and assembly, thus increasing our offerings to our customers. Utilizing advances in quality and management systems has enabled Baxter Machine & Tool Co. to excel in the precision powertrain products industry.
